The City of Kenosha announced on May 5 that the intersection of 75th Street and 96th Avenue will be closed starting May 18 for sanitary sewer lining work. The closure is expected to last about three weeks.

The project affects traffic in the area, as access between 75th Street and 96th Avenue will be fully restricted during this period. This measure is part of ongoing maintenance along 75th Street between 99th Avenue and 94th Avenue.

According to the announcement, access via 94th Avenue will remain open throughout the project. Drivers are encouraged to use this route as an alternative way to reach 75th Street.

Motorists are advised by city officials to allow extra travel time and follow posted detour signage while the work is underway.

“The Kenosha Water Utility appreciates the public’s patience during the completion of this work,” said representatives from the utility.
