Kenosha County officials have announced that Highway F (Bloomfield Road) will be closed daily between Highway P (400th Avenue) and the Walworth County line (407th Avenue) for about a week and a half starting Wednesday, Oct. 16. The closure is necessary to allow for asphalt milling and resurfacing work.

Drivers are advised to use alternate routes during this period. Local access will still be available, with flagging operations in place to guide traffic. The county noted that the schedule for this project depends on weather conditions and may change.

During the 2023-24 school year, Kenosha County had a total student enrollment of 25,402 across its schools. White students made up 55.6% of the student body, while Hispanic students accounted for 25.7%, and Black students represented 10.4%. American Indian students were among the least represented groups at 0.2%. More details on these statistics can be found at https://dpi.wi.gov/.

The three largest schools by enrollment in Kenosha County for the same academic year were Indian Trail High School and Academy with 2,001 students, Tremper High School with 1,458 students, and Bradford High School with 1,448 students according to data from https://dpi.wi.gov/.

The county encourages drivers to stay informed about possible changes to the construction schedule as work progresses.
