Students at Mahone Middle School participated in a schoolwide Career Day, where they had the chance to learn about different professions. In Ms. Peterson’s class, Mr. Shawn Vargas, a Union Carpenter, spoke with students about the various careers available in carpentry and the types of training needed for each career path.

As part of the event, students also took part in a Virtual Welding experience that provided them with practical insight into skilled trade careers.

Indian Trail High School and Academy was noted as having the largest student enrollment among Kenosha County schools during the 2023-24 academic year, with 2,001 students enrolled. This figure represents a 1.1% increase from the previous year and reflects ongoing growth at the school (https://dpi.wi.gov/).
