The City of Kenosha announced on Mar. 26 that trash, recycling, bulk, and tire collections will proceed as usual on Friday, April 3, 2026. City Hall will be closed that day in observance of Good Friday.

The announcement is important for residents who rely on municipal collection services and need to plan around the holiday schedule. Regular waste management helps maintain cleanliness and order in the community.

Residents who wish to schedule pickups for Monday, April 6 must call no later than Thursday, April 2. This ensures timely service following the holiday closure.

Regarding drop-off sites, the Bulk Drop-Off Site at 1001 50th St. will be closed on Friday but will reopen with normal hours from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 4. The Concrete and Brick/Block Drop-Off Site at 6415 35th Ave. will also be closed Friday and is set to reopen Monday, April 6 with its regular hours from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

For further information or questions about schedules or services, residents are encouraged to contact the Kenosha Department of Public Works at (262)653-4050.
