The Kenosha Area Chamber of Commerce announced on Apr. 6 that its digital assistant, Kenny, has received a major upgrade aimed at improving how users navigate the Chamber’s website and connect with local businesses.

The upgrade is intended to make it easier for both community members and Chamber members to find information, discover services, and access resources. The enhanced tool helps users search the member directory more efficiently and connects them with relevant programs and events offered by the Chamber.

According to the announcement, “With recent improvements, Kenny is now better at helping users find Chamber member businesses, search the Chamber’s member directory, and connect with local resources more easily.” The statement also said that this update means added visibility for Chamber members while providing a simpler way for the public to discover trusted local connections.

Kenny is designed using information from the Chamber’s website and member directory. This enables it to guide visitors toward member businesses as well as highlight various programs available through the organization. The statement noted: “It helps guide users toward Chamber member businesses while also connecting them with relevant Chamber programs, events, and resources. It’s another tool that helps highlight the businesses that are part of the Chamber.”

The Kenosha Area Chamber of Commerce serves organizations throughout greater Kenosha according to its official website. It provides networking events, business expos, professional development opportunities for its members according to its official website, and contributes to community leadership development through training programs on local issues in partnership with University of Wisconsin–Parkside according to its official website.

The organization operates from offices at 600 52nd Street in Kenosha according to its official website.

Looking ahead, officials say they are optimistic about how these changes will benefit both members and residents: “We’re excited about what this improved version of Kenny can do, both for our members and for the community. It’s one more way we are working to make local connections easier…and help people discover the businesses and resources that make Kenosha strong.”
