Kenosha County will hold its annual Veterans Breakfast and Resource Fair on Saturday, Nov. 2, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Kenosha County Job Center, 8600 Sheridan Road. Doors open at 8:30 a.m., and the event is free to the public.
County Executive Samantha Kerkman announced that the breakfast, sponsored by Piasecki Funeral Home, aims to celebrate and honor those who have served in the U.S. military. The breakfast will be served at 9:15 a.m., following military honors and the playing of the Star-Spangled Banner during a brief program at 9 a.m.
A resource fair with informational vendors will run throughout the morning. Gateway Technical College student barbers will offer free haircuts during the event.
“This event kicks off a series of Veterans Day events that will be held throughout the county over the following days,” Kerkman said. “I encourage veterans, their families — and anyone who supports our veterans — to join us for breakfast, fellowship, and an informative resource fair.”
