Kenosha County will hold its annual Veterans Breakfast and Resource Fair on Saturday, Nov. 2, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Kenosha County Job Center, located at 8600 Sheridan Road. The event is free and open to the public, with doors opening at 8:30 a.m.
County Executive Samantha Kerkman announced the event and said it is an opportunity for the community to honor those who have served in the U.S. military. “This event kicks off a series of Veterans Day events that will be held throughout the county over the following days,” Kerkman said. “I encourage veterans, their families — and anyone who supports our veterans — to join us for breakfast, fellowship, and an informative resource fair.”
Breakfast will be served at 9:15 a.m., sponsored by Piasecki Funeral Home. The morning program includes military honors and the playing of the Star-Spangled Banner starting at 9 a.m.
A resource fair featuring informational vendors will run throughout the morning, with Gateway Technical College student barbers providing free haircuts.
