Residents near the Kenosha County-owned gravel pit in Wilmot are being informed about a planned controlled burn that will occur at various times throughout March. The Kenosha County Division of Highways announced that brush on the property will be burned as weather conditions allow, with the process expected to take between two and five days.
The gravel pit is located at 32303 116th St. (Highway C) in the Town of Randall. According to officials, “This burning of brush on the property will be conducted as weather permits, and may take place over the course of roughly two to five days.”
