Kenosha County will hold its annual Veterans Breakfast and Resource Fair on Saturday, November 1, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Kenosha County Job Center. County Executive Samantha Kerkman announced the event, which is free and open to the public. Doors will open at 8:30 a.m.
Breakfast, sponsored by Piasecki Funeral Home, will be served at 9:15 a.m. The morning program will also feature military honors and the playing of the national anthem. Throughout the event, attendees can access information from various vendors and receive free haircuts provided by Gateway Technical College student barbers.
“It’s an honor to celebrate with our veterans and their supporters at this event every year, and it’s a wonderful kickoff to the series of ceremonies and programs that follow on Veterans Day and in the days leading up to it,” Kerkman said.

Tremper High School had more than fourteen hundred students enrolled while Bradford High School reported similar numbers (https://dpi.wi.gov/).
Demographic data from this school year shows that white students comprise just over half of Kenosha County’s student body. Hispanic students represent about one-quarter of all students while Black students make up roughly ten percent (https://dpi.wi.gov/). American Indian students remain among the least represented groups in county schools (https://dpi.wi.gov/).
