Kenosha County will hold its annual Veterans Breakfast and Resource Fair on Saturday, Nov. 2, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Kenosha County Job Center, according to an announcement from County Executive Samantha Kerkman. The event is free and open to the public, with doors opening at 8:30 a.m.
The breakfast, sponsored by Piasecki Funeral Home, aims to honor local veterans and their families. It will begin at 9:15 a.m., preceded by military honors, the playing of the national anthem, and a brief program at 9 a.m. Attendees can also visit a resource fair featuring informational vendors and receive free haircuts provided by student barbers from Gateway Technical College.
“This event kicks off a series of Veterans Day events that will be held throughout the county over the following days,” Kerkman said. “I encourage veterans, their families — and anyone who supports our veterans — to join us for breakfast, fellowship, and an informative resource fair.”

American Indian students remain among the least represented groups within county schools (https://dpi.wi.gov/).
