The Eric Olson Memorial St. Patrick’s Day Parade will return to Kenosha on Saturday, March 14, after attracting tens of thousands of visitors during its first event in 2025. Organizers have extended the deadline for parade entries by one week, with applications now due by Friday, Feb. 20, 2026.

Both community members and businesses are encouraged to participate in the parade with floats, marching bands, dance groups and other forms of entertainment. Nonprofit organizations can enter for $25, while the entry fee for businesses is $150. Applications can be obtained at the Mayor’s Office or through the events page on the city website at www.kenosha.org.

A new option this year allows Irish families from Kenosha to join a special float provided by the parade committee. Participants will ride together and display a banner featuring their family’s last name. The entry fee for this group float is $100. Applications are available on the city’s website or by contacting Kris Kochman in the Mayor’s Office.

The event is organized by the City of Kenosha along with Visit Kenosha and the Lakeshore Business Improvement District, receiving support from local businesses and organizations. The parade will begin at 10:45 a.m., starting at 50th Street and Seventh Avenue before proceeding through downtown to Library Park.
