On Tuesday, July 11, 2023 around 10pm, Kenosha Police officers responded to shots being fired in an apartment complex parking lot in the 1700 block of Birch Rd. Responding officers located one victim, a 26-year-old Kenosha man, with several gunshot wounds to his lower extremities. The victim was transferred to a local hospital and he is in stable condition. 

Evidence of a shooting was collected at the scene and the investigation is active at this time. There are no suspects in custody. 

Anyone with information regarding this shooting is asked to contact the Kenosha Police Department Detective Bureau at 262-605-5203 or the Kenosha Area Crime Stoppers at 262- 656-7333. This case is active and ongoing, there are no further details at this time
