KTEC High School will host its 2026 National Signing Day Celebration, presented by Snap-on, on April 29, 2026. The event will be held at the KTEC Schools of Innovation campus at 7400 39th Avenue in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Snap-on is serving as the presenting sponsor and continues to support workforce development and technical education for students preparing for high-demand careers. KTEC High School works with partners such as Gateway Technical College and companies like Snap-on to provide students with opportunities in technical fields. These partnerships offer dual credits and workplace exposure for students interested in pursuing certifications or college enrollment after graduation. More information about these collaborations can be found on the school’s official website.
The Signing Day event will recognize members of KTEC’s second graduating class as they commit to further education or career pathways. According to school officials, this day honors the dedication of students who are preparing to enter high-skill professions.
The community is invited to attend the celebration, which includes campus tours and presentations from national leaders in technical education. Guests will also see how KTEC prepares graduates for workforce readiness through a focus on character development, teamwork, career awareness, rigorous academics, and practical learning experiences (source). The school serves students from grades 4K through 12 on a unified campus (source).
Dr. Angela Andersson, founder of KTEC High School, commented on the significance of this event:
“This Signing Day symbolizes not only the success of our second senior class, but also a pivotal moment as we prepare to open our Center of Innovation in the fall of 2026. Beginning in the 2025 to 2026 school year, we launched a new elementary and middle school that joined our high school on one unified campus. This expansion allowed us to provide a seamless 4K to 12 educational experience, fostering innovation, creativity, and critical thinking from day one. Through our partnerships with institutions like Gateway Technical College and employers like Snap-on, our students gain the foundational knowledge and industry awareness needed to thrive in high-demand career fields in Kenosha County and beyond.”
The schedule for April 29 includes student demonstrations at 12:30 PM followed by presentations recognizing seniors at 1:15 PM.
