LakeView K-8 student advances to state spelling bee after regional success

Muhammad Saad-Qadri, a seventh-grade student at LakeView K-8, has advanced to the Badger State Spelling Bee after earning second place at the CESA 1 Regional Spelling Bee. The state competition is scheduled for March 21 at the Mitby Theater at Madison Area Technical College.

Indian Trail High School and Academy recorded the highest student enrollment among Kenosha County schools during the 2023-24 academic year, with a total of 2,001 students. This figure represents a 1.1% increase from the previous year, according to data from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (https://dpi.wi.gov/).

Kenosha Unified School District will present “The Hello Girls” musical this spring at Bradford High School Studio Theatre. The show highlights America’s first women soldiers and runs from late April through early May. Enrollment data also shows Indian Trail High has seen student growth this year.
