It was the perfect day to celebrate Mending Minds Behavioral Health Services and their newest location in Silver Lake with a Ribbon Cutting! MBHS is bringing their wonderful and needed services to the county, by opening another location at 209 N. 2nd Street in Silver Lake. MBHS works with individuals diagnosed with mental health, AODA and learning disabilities of all ages.
Mending Minds Behavioral Health Services has a focus on encouraging and empowering individuals through education on wellness and recovery. They contract with CCS and CLTS waiver children and adults who are diagnosed with mental health, AODA, and learning disabilities. They provide respite, skill development, teaching daily and independent living skills, parent mentoring, counseling, de-escalation support, and more. Their motto is, “To walk beside you on your path of recovery,” with a goal to help each person achieve individual success.
