Bristol village issued the following announcement on Feb 15.
Kenosha County, in partnership with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is scheduled to begin bridge reconstruction on County Highway WG (128th Street) over the Dutch Gap Canal with a scheduled completion of mid-summer 2022.'
County Highway WG (128th Street), between US 45 (Bristol Road) and County Highway MB (152nd Avenue) is scheduled to close to traffic beginning the week of February 21 through mid-summer, while crews reconstruct a bridge over the Dutch Gap Canal. Access to residences and businesses will be maintained. →
Detour Route: Motorists are encouraged to utilize US 45 (Bristol Road), County Highway CJ (Horton Road), and County MB (152nd Avenue) to get around the closure.
