On Sunday, March 16, former Indian Trail High School And Academy standout Emma Giese’s current college team, the UW Whitewater Warhawks, won 5-4 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the Simpson Storm.

The game took place at Hancock Park. This was their first matchup against the Storm this season.

The Warhawks’ next game is scheduled for Monday, March 17 at 9 a.m. at Legends Way Ballfields against Scranton Lady Royals.
