City of Kenosha offers free document shredding event on October 11

The City of Kenosha has announced a free document shredding event for residents on Saturday, October 11, 2025. The service will be available from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at three locations: Northside Library at 1500 27th Avenue, Southwest Library at 7979 38th Avenue, and the Kenosha Water Utility at 4401 Green Bay Road.

Residents can bring up to five bags or boxes of documents to be shredded by representatives from Shred-It. According to the city, this initiative is aimed at helping citizens securely dispose of sensitive materials.

Future dates for document shredding events in 2026 are expected to be announced in February.
