Elementary students and their families are invited to attend a literacy event with Superintendent Dr. Weiss on November 13 at Curtis Strange Elementary. The event, called “Soup With the Super,” will feature Dr. Weiss reading one of his favorite fall stories and leading a hands-on gratitude project for families to complete together and take home. Attendees will also be served a soup dinner.

The program is open to all community members, not just those affiliated with KUSD. Organizers encourage anyone interested in family education programs to participate.

The event will take place from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Curtis Strange Elementary, located at 5414 49th Ave.

“We hope to see you there!” said organizers.

Registration is required for participation in Soup With the Super.
