Tremper High School culinary students took part in a hands-on cooking demonstration led by executive chef and Tremper alumnus Adam Quesenberry, according to a Mar. 11 announcement.

The event aimed to connect classroom learning with real-world experiences and provide insight into careers in the culinary and hospitality industry. Students observed professional kitchen techniques as they learned how to prepare quesadillas, while also hearing about Chef Quesenberry’s career path and his experiences working in the field.

During the session, Quesenberry answered questions from students about what it is like to work in the culinary industry. The school said that opportunities like this help inspire students and give them a better understanding of potential career paths.

While Tremper High School hosted this particular event, Indian Trail High School and Academy had the largest student enrollment among Kenosha County schools during the 2023-24 school year, with a total of 2,001 students according to data from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. This figure represents a 1.1% increase from the previous year as reported by the department.

Indian Trail High School and Academy’s enrollment numbers reflect ongoing growth within local schools according to state education records.

The school community thanked Chef Quesenberry for sharing his expertise and inspiring future culinary professionals.
