The Union Grove Plan Commission has scheduled a public hearing to discuss the draft Downtown Redevelopment Plan. The hearing will take place on Monday, February 2 at 6:00 p.m. at the Union Grove Municipal Center, located at 925 15th Avenue.

During the meeting, there will be a presentation of the draft plan, followed by an opportunity for public comment. The Downtown Redevelopment Plan is designed as a long-term guide for investment and revitalization in downtown Union Grove. It proposes strategies such as addressing vacant and deteriorating buildings, expanding parking options, improving access for businesses and deliveries, and exploring economic uses for government-owned properties.

The draft plan is available for review at Village Hall and on the Village’s website. Residents, business owners, property owners, and others interested in downtown Union Grove are encouraged to examine the document and participate in the public hearing.

Written comments can also be submitted to the Village Administrator’s Office before the meeting.
