Washington Municipal Golf Course has reported a 5% increase in revenue for the 2025 season compared to the previous year. The course also saw an uptick in group outings and completed its second full season of offering season passes.

The course will close for the season on Sunday, November 2.

The annual Magic at Muni event continued to attract both new and returning visitors ahead of the 2026 season. In its second year, the partnership between Washington Municipal, First Tee, and Kenosha County expanded youth golf instruction and training, resulting in increased participation and broader access to golf for young players.

Parks Director Katie Elder stated, “Looking ahead, pending funding, we’re planning several improvements across the course, including creek stabilization, path repairs and upgrades to the irrigation system.”

The course is scheduled to reopen in early April 2026, depending on weather conditions. Updates will be available on the City of Kenosha’s website and social media platforms.
