Kenosha County Court Commissioner Elizabeth Pfeuffer has been recognized by the Wisconsin Child Support Enforcement Association (WCSEA) as the Judicial Official of the Year. The award highlights her efforts to enhance the effectiveness of the Child Support Program in Wisconsin.

The WCSEA awards this honor to judges or family court commissioners who improve child support programs through innovative court orders, public relations efforts, or procedures that emphasize parental financial responsibilities. Pfeuffer received this recognition for her work in Kenosha County.

Dustin Feeney, Director of Workforce Development for Kenosha County and President of WCSEA, presented the award to Pfeuffer on December 9th in her courtroom. In his statement regarding Pfeuffer's nomination, Feeney remarked: "Commissioner Elizabeth Pfeuffer is very much a customer first Judicial Official. She strives to ensure those entering her courtroom feel comfortable and understand what is happening."

Pfeuffer has collaborated with Kenosha County Child Support Services to create informative "How it Works" documents for various hearings. These resources are available in service documents, on the Kenosha CSS website, and in her courtroom.

In addition to being a Family Court Commissioner, Pfeuffer serves as President of the Wisconsin Family Court Commissioner Association (WFCCA). Her role includes participating on the Child Support Policy Advisory Committee with WCSEA members to provide insights into policy decisions impacting Wisconsin's child support program.

Pfeuffer's contributions extend beyond her regular duties; she has worked with Kenosha CSS management on presentations about child support and family court FAQs for partner agencies. Feeney noted that she is "always well-prepared, thorough, and engaging when presenting."
