A free concert series organized by Kenosha County Parks will return to Old Settlers Park in Paddock Lake for a 10-week season, as announced by county and village officials. The Paddock Lake Village Board approved the 2025 concert series schedule unanimously earlier this week.
The concerts are scheduled to take place from 6 to 8 p.m. each Thursday between June 12 and August 21, excluding July 3. They will be held at the newly built band shelter located at Old Settlers Park, 24100 75th St.
“Thanks to the support of our partners at the Village of Paddock Lake, Rhythm on the Lake will be back — better than ever — in 2025,” stated County Executive Samantha Kerkman. “We’re delighted to bring this free, family-friendly event to the community.”
Each event will feature a pop-up beer garden offering beer, nonalcoholic drinks, and snacks for purchase. The Paddock Lake Lions Club and the Kiwanis Club of Westosha-Salem will alternate managing concessions with all proceeds going to these organizations.
Paddock Lake Village President Pro Tempore Alex Attiah expressed satisfaction in collaborating with the county on this project. “We’re looking forward to having this concert series in Paddock Lake and utilizing the new band shelter that we have,” said Attiah. “It’s a great community event — something we look forward to every Thursday during the summer.”
County Board Supervisor John Poole noted an increase from five concerts last year to ten this year at Old Settlers Park. “With an average attendance of over 200 people, this series is well-attended each week,” Poole commented. He acknowledged County Executive Kerkman and Parks Director Wyatt Moore for their efforts in expanding the event.
Moore emphasized that Rhythm on the Lake is part of a larger array of events Kenosha County Parks plans for summer. He mentioned that details about musical performers would be released in spring.
“This is still a relatively new event, and we’re really excited about the positive feedback we’ve been getting over the last two years,” Moore remarked. “It’s going to be another great summer of music in the park, alongside the lake, in Old Settlers Park.”
