Union Grove Recreation has opened registration for its Fall Co-Ed Youth Soccer League, offering children from Pre-K through sixth grade an opportunity to participate in weekly practices and Saturday games. The league is held at Old School Yard Park in Union Grove.

The program emphasizes teamwork, sportsmanship, and skill development within a supportive setting. It is open to boys and girls of all skill levels. Practices are scheduled for one hour each week, beginning the week of September 2, 2025. Games will take place on Saturdays from September 13 through October 18, 2025.

Participants are divided into four groups: Pre-K & Kindergarten, 1st & 2nd Grade, 3rd & 4th Grade, and 5th & 6th Grade. Shin guards are required for all players, while metal cleats are not allowed.

Registration fees are $75 per child for residents of Union Grove or Yorkville and $85 for non-residents. Families can register online via the Racine Family YMCA portal, in person at the YMCA front desk, or by phone with Member Services.

For more information about registration or the program itself, interested parties can contact Ryan Thompson at (262) 902-7917.

"Players will enjoy weekly practices and Saturday games at Old School Yard Park, right here in Union Grove."

The soccer league aims to provide a positive environment that encourages participation among youth in the area.
