Kenosha County officials have announced that Highway E (12th Street) will be closed between Highway 31 (Green Bay Road) and Highway JR (39th Avenue) for about two weeks starting Monday, Aug. 25. The closure is necessary to complete culvert replacement work.
Drivers are advised to use Highway 31 and JR as a detour during the closure period. While residents in the area will still have access, they may need to change their usual routes depending on where and when the culvert work is being done.
The schedule for this project depends on weather conditions and may change if needed.
