5.7% of citizens unemployed in Kenosha County in 2021

Kenosha County recorded an unemployment rate of 5.7% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 5,250 people out of the 168,743 living in Kenosha County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Kenosha County has decreased compared to the 6.4% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Kenosha County was greater than the statewide unemployment rate of 3.5%.

Of the 86,217 people who had a job during that time, 316 were employed in the Armed Forces and 85,901 belonged to the civilian labor force.
