Sunday, March 16: Shoreland Lutheran High School standout Sawyer Smith’s college team loses to Baylor Bears

On Sunday, March 16, former Shoreland Lutheran High School standout Sawyer Smith’s current college team, the Kansas Jayhawks, lost 9-7 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Baylor Bears.

The game took place at Hoglund Ballpark. This was their third matchup against the Bears this season.

The Jayhawks’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 18 at 8 p.m. at Hi Corbett Field against Arizona Wildcats.
