The Village and Town of Somers is seeking poll workers for upcoming elections. The organization encourages residents to participate in the election process by volunteering as poll workers, highlighting the importance of their role in ensuring fair and accessible elections.

According to the announcement, poll workers play a key part in supporting smooth election operations, meeting community members, and are compensated for their time. Basic requirements include being a registered voter, availability on Election Day or during early voting periods, reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team.

The tentative dates for upcoming elections are February 17, 2026 (Spring Election), April 7, 2026 (Spring General Election), August 11, 2026 (Primary Election), and November 3, 2026 (General Election).
