On Friday, March 21, former Indian Trail High School And Academy standout Alona Boydston’s current college team, the Butler Bulldogs, won 2-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the St. John's Red Storm.

The game took place at Butler Softball Field. This was their first matchup against the Red Storm this season.

The Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 1 p.m. at Butler Softball Field against St. John's Red Storm.
