On Sunday, March 23, former Indian Trail High School And Academy standout Alona Boydston’s current college team, the Butler Bulldogs, lost 8-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the St. John's Red Storm.

The game took place at Butler Softball Field. This was their third matchup against the Red Storm this season.

The Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 26 at 4 p.m. at UD Softball Stadium against Dayton Flyers.
