Kenosha County Parks will host a Movie Night in the Park event at Fox River Park on Friday, September 26. The featured film is “Star Wars: A New Hope,” and it will be shown at dusk near Area #1 of the park. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs, blankets, and snacks.
The event includes a costume contest where guests can dress as characters from the movie. Winners will be selected by crowd applause and receive prizes such as a free pass to Boundless Adventures – Kenosha Zipline & Aerial Park, which is located within Bristol Woods County Park.
“Movie Night in the Park has become a tradition our community looks forward to,” said Parks Director Wyatt Moore. “Expanding to Fox River gives more families the chance to enjoy an evening together at our wonderful park.”
Moore added that Kenosha County Parks aims to offer these free, family-oriented events as part of its focus on community engagement and recreation.
Fox River Park is situated on Highway F (93rd Street), just east of Highway W (304th Avenue) in the Village of Salem Lakes.
