Bristol #1 School District issued the following announcement on Oct. 15

Please review the important upcoming weekly announcements compiled by Bristol’s Administrative Team.

● 10/27/2021- Costumes and attire will be permitted. All costumes must be school appropriate and coincide with the School Dress Code. Visitors on this day will be limited to classroom coordinators. As always, treats must be store bought and prepackaged. 

● 10/22/2021 - Three-Year Old Birthday Parties: We invite all 3 year old Bristol residents to come celebrate your birthday at Bristol School from 10am-11am on October 22! Come enjoy toys, activities, cake and presents along with a developmental screening to make sure your 3 year old is meeting pre-academic, cognitive, speech/language, social-emotional and motor milestones. The birthday party is FREE for children with a 3 year old birthday between July 1st and October 31st (more events to come for later birthdays). Ready to register or have questions? ● 11/3/2021- Picture Retake Day 

● Student Handbook Cell Phone Update: Please note that student cell phones are to remain turned off during normal school hours (7:20-2:45). 

● Wagner Family Fire Fund:Thank you to the entire Bristol School community for their participation in our Safe Quarters campaign! Our school raised $659.02 to help Westosha area families who lose their homes to a fire. The kindness of Bristol families will go a long way in helping others. 

● Red Ribbon Week: Join Bristol School in honoring Red Ribbon Week 2021 (RRW): October 18-22, 2021. This year’s slogan is “Drug Free Looks Like Me!” RRW is a nationally recognized prevention program that promotes leading a positive, healthy, and drug-free lifestyle through educational programs. This year we will honor RRW through various pre-recorded RRW videos, school counseling lessons, and a school spirit week. Throughout the 2021 Red Ribbon Week (RRW), Bristol School invites all Bristol staff, students and families to join in our school spirit days. All school spirit attire must follow the staff/student dress code. Check out the SPIRIT DAYS HERE!

● COVID Snapshot: Thank you for your continued daily symptom monitoring! As a reminder, this snapshot includes the number of students that today, Friday 10/15, are actively identified with a positive diagnosis, have been identified as a close contact status, and cumulative positive diagnosis cases since the beginning of the school year. We continue to rely on families to monitor symptoms daily and communicate with Bristol’s Nurse as needed.
