H. F. Johnson Gallery of Art Presents: ‘Senior Exhibitions’
DECEMBER 02, ALL DAY (UNTIL DECEMBER 10)
H. F. JOHNSON GALLERY OF ART
Join us for “Senior Exhibitions” from Friday, Dec. 2 through Saturday, Dec. 10, in the H. F. Johnson Gallery of Art.
To celebrate the completion of their senior thesis projects, graduating Carthage studio art majors present a group exhibition of their work in a variety of media. This showcase also serves as a springboard event for our emerging professional artists and is the first step of their exciting new careers as Carthage alumni.
McKenzie Zocher ’23 will present acrylic painting and ceramic sculptures in her thesis, “Control.” Noemi Norman ’23 will showcase her thesis, “Shared World,” featuring mixed media artworks made with reclaimed materials. “Human” by Jenna Watkins ’23 combines mixed media paintings and soft fabric sculptures along with an installation of balloons.
Attend the opening reception for this exhibit from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, in the H. F. Johnson Gallery of Art.
The gallery is open from noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. Extended hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursdays and from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturdays. All art exhibits are free and open to the public.
Events are subject to change. Stay connected by following us on Facebook and Instagram, signing up for our monthly E-Newsletter, or visiting us online.
