‘Milestones’: Soviet-Era Art Exhibition

JANUARY 17, ALL DAY (UNTIL JANUARY 29)

H. F. JOHNSON GALLERY OF ART

See the Soviet-era art exhibition: “Milestones” Tuesday, Jan. 17 through Sunday, Jan. 29, in the H. F. Johnson Gallery of Art.

“Milestones” is the first exhibition of works in the Carthage Sam and Berry Schoen Collection of Soviet Art. The exhibit includes works by artists such as Tkachev, Krylov, Nechitailo, and Semenyuk. Masha Zavialova is the guest curator.

RSVP for the Curator’s Talk and Gala Reception on Friday, Jan. 27:

  • Curator’s Talk: 3 p.m., Johnson Recital Hall
  • Gala Reception: 4-6 p.m., H. F. Johnson Gallery of Art
The gallery is open from noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. Extended hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursdays and from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturdays. All art exhibits are free and open to the public.
