There were 957 students enrolled in Salem School District schools in the 2023-24 school year, 4.3% less than the previous year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2023-24 school year, 53.8% of them were boys, and 46.2% were girls.

Data also shows that most of the students were white, accounting for 83.9% of the Salem School District total enrollment.
