KUSD schools will remain closed on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, due to an extreme cold warning. In light of the closure, the district has provided a list of warming shelters for those in need of accommodation.
The school closure has led to adjustments in the high school finals schedule for this week. The updated schedule is as follows:
At Harborside, there are no changes to the intensives.
Lakeview High School's revised schedule is:
- Wednesday, January 22:
- Period 1: 7:15-8:35 a.m. (80 minutes)
- Period 2: 8:40-9:50 a.m. (70 minutes)
- Period 5/6: 9:55-11:05 a.m. (70 minutes)
- Period 3: 11:10 a.m.-12:20 p.m. (70 minutes)
- Dismissal at 12:20 p.m.
- Thursday, January 23:
- Period 4: 7:15-8:30 a.m. (75 minutes)
- Period 7: 8:35-9:40 a.m. (65 minutes)
- Period 8: 9:45-11 a.m. (75 minutes)
Reuther High School's schedule remains unchanged.
Parents and students are encouraged to review these changes to ensure preparedness for the finals.
