Kenosha County's golf courses, Brighton Dale Links and Petrifying Springs Golf Course, have officially opened for the 2025 season. County Executive Samantha Kerkman announced the opening today.

“We’re excited to begin a new season at our county golf courses,” Kerkman stated. “Under the leadership of Golf Director Jim Wallace, golfers can expect more of what they love about Brighton Dale and Petrifying Springs Golf Course, along with some new improvements.”

At Brighton Dale Links, only the 18-hole Blue Spruce course is available at the start of the season. The nine-hole Red Pine course and driving range remain closed to allow time for newly reconstructed areas to mature before reopening. The 18-hole White Birch course is expected to open within two weeks.

“We are excited to debut a new driving range, putting green and improved Red Pine course later this spring,” Wallace said. “These improvements will further enhance what was already an outstanding playing experience at Brighton Dale Links.”

Last year saw record numbers at both facilities with approximately 78,000 rounds played at Brighton Dale and 42,000 at Petrifying Springs. The courses hosted around 60 events and over 40 golf leagues.

“It’s our goal to build upon this momentum in 2025, and to continue offering a premier golfing experience for Kenosha County residents and visitors alike,” Wallace added.
