Five students from KTEC High School represented their school at the 52nd Annual SkillsUSA Wisconsin State Leadership and Skills Conference, held at the Alliant Energy Center and Madison Area Technical College in Madison, Wisconsin.

Blake Krauter, Nathan Warwick, Aidan Tosch, and Jobany Vazquez-Del Mercado were among the participants who competed in various technical skills categories. These students demonstrated "innovation, professionalism, and technical skill" that set them apart from other competitors.

A significant achievement was recorded by Aidan Tosch and Blake Krauter, who became state champions in the Commercial sUAS (drone) competition. As a result, they will represent Wisconsin at the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference in Atlanta, Georgia, from June 23–27, 2025. This achievement underlines the "high-level preparation students receive through KTEC’s focus on career and technical education (CTE)."

The SkillsUSA competition is described as "aligning perfectly" with KTEC's mission to prepare students for a rapidly changing workforce. It provides students with certifications, hands-on training, and early exposure to career pathways in various high-demand industries.

Congratulations were extended to Blake, Nathan, Aidan, and Jobany for their achievements, which reflect KTEC's values of "innovation, dedication, and a commitment to excellence."
