Kenosha Unified School District (KUSD) has announced that online registration is now open for all new and returning families for the 2025–26 school year. The announcement was made in a press release on April 17, 2025.

According to KUSD, the district has opened online registration for the upcoming school year, requiring all families to complete the process to ensure student information is current. The district supports a centralized system called Universal Registration, which allows families to register and submit documents at any school, regardless of where the student is enrolled. Additional tools such as a boundary school locator, technical support hotline, and Spanish translation options are available to assist families throughout registration.

New families must begin by completing the online registration form and then contact the school to submit documentation. This includes a birth certificate or passport, immunization records, a government-issued photo ID, and proof of residency. Proof of residency must include one document from Category 1, such as a mortgage statement or signed lease, and two documents from Category 2, such as a recent utility bill or bank statement. A valid email address and emergency contact and health information for each child are also required.

Returning families must log into the Infinite Campus Parent Portal to update or confirm student details, with the option to add new students during the process. Similar documentation is needed when adding new children, and schools will coordinate the submission of these materials. The district provides user guides for new and returning families in both English and Spanish, along with resources like school supply lists, school hours, and mobile app access to support families in completing registration.

The Kenosha Unified School District serves the City of Kenosha, Village of Pleasant Prairie, and the Town and Village of Somers in southeastern Wisconsin. It operates 16 elementary schools, 4 middle schools, 3 high schools, 3 charter schools, 3 choice schools, a specialty school, and a Head Start center. The district has a total enrollment of 19,069 students with an annual operational expenditure of approximately $304 million.
