Town Of Somers issued the following announcement on January 11.
The lobby of the Somers Town/ Village Hall is getting a facelift as part of the ongoing upgrade project.
In addition to a fresh coat of paint, a mural has been designed featuring the Somers logo and historical photos of the area.
Michael’s Signs designers Kyle Doyle, left, and Haydon Cowan started installing the vinyl mural on Jan. 5. 2022.
The front counter was remodeled to provide better access to all people including a lower counter for people in wheelchairs and mechanical assist door openers.
Security features for visitors and staff have also been added.
