Kenosha Unified School District (KUSD) has announced that KUSD Theatre will present 'Six: The Musical,' a modern retelling of Henry VIII’s six wives through a pop-inspired performance. This announcement was made in a press release on March 5, 2025.

According to the press release, KUSD Theatre will present "Six: Teen Edition" at Bradford High School on April 4, 2025, at 7:00 PM CDT, with doors opening at 6:30 PM. The performance is open to all ages and features assigned seating. Tickets are priced at $15 for general admission and $10 for seniors, students, and staff. They are available for online purchase until April 4 at 9:00 PM CDT, with a print-at-home option for easy entry.

KUSD emphasizes theater arts education starting from elementary school with musical and operatic productions and continuing through middle and high school with curricular and extracurricular performances. The district's theater program for the 2024-25 academic year has assigned roles to all auditioning students, who are advised to check cast lists carefully. Those interested in stage management or crew positions can still apply. Additional auditions for non-musical plays will occur throughout the school year.

Bradford High School serves grades 9-12 with over 1,500 students and 145 faculty members. According to the Bradford High School website, its improvement plan aims for a 12% performance increase over three years by aligning instruction with grade-level standards, using assessment data to enhance teaching, and implementing behavior management systems. The school follows an "Every Kid, Every Day" motto, emphasizing student support through a freshman academy, intervention programs, and diverse academic offerings including over a dozen Advanced Placement (AP) courses.

The Kenosha Unified School District was established in 1967 and serves the City of Kenosha, Village of Pleasant Prairie, and the Town and Village of Somers in southeastern Wisconsin. It operates numerous educational institutions including elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, charter schools, choice schools, a specialty school, and a Head Start center. According to KUSD data, the district has a total enrollment of 19,069 students with an annual operational expenditure of approximately $304 million.
