Openhouse

Issued the following announcement on Aug 31.

Chamber Open House August 31st

The Kenosha Area Chamber of Commerce has scheduled an Open House for Tuesday, August 31 from 9:30am to 4:30pm. The greater business community is invited to stop by the Chamber Open House and wish retiring President, Lou Molitor, a happy retirement and officially welcome the new Chamber President, Dave Strash.

Lou Molitor is retiring after thirteen years at the Chamber, two years at the Lake County Chamber, and twenty-four years at Northpointe Resources. In his work at our Chamber, Lou developed and implemented the Chamber’s Business Education Partners Program that connected High School students with our local colleges and area businesses. He also implemented a reciprocal Chamber membership program with other Chambers in Southeastern Wisconsin and Northeastern Illinois. Chamber Members are encouraged to stop by and wish Lou a fond farewell.

Chamber Members are also encouraged to meet Dave Strash. Dave is a lifelong Kenosha resident who has been married to his wife, Tricia, for thirty-five years. They have four children, two in college and two in High School. Dave has a long history of service to our Chamber that started in the 1990s. He served as an Ambassador and later served the Board of Directors for seventeen years, holding the position of Chairman of the Board twice. He has also been on the Kenosha Expo Committee for the last fourteen years and has chaired the Kenosha Expo committee for the last eight years.
