There were 612 students enrolled in Wheatland J1 School District schools in the 2022-23 school year, 5% more than the previous year, according to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 50.8% of them were boys, and 49.2% were girls.

Data also shows that most of the students were white, accounting for 93.1% of the Wheatland J1 School District total enrollment.

Wheatland J1 School District covers one school within Kenosha County, with its main office in Burlington.

Among the one school in the Wheatland J1 School District, Wheatland Center Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of 612 students in the 2022-23 school year.

Nearly 830,000 students were enrolled in Wisconsin schools in the 2021-22 school year. This is a 0.85% decrease from the year before. In sharp contrast to declining public school figures, enrollment in charter schools rose 4.5% to more than 52,000.
