The initial rating for KTEC High School is "Meets Few Expectations." This score is based on data from two years involving a small group of students, with several measures currently unavailable due to the limited sample size and timeframe. Key data such as attendance and post-high school readiness reflect only the 2022-23 school year.
Despite these constraints, KTEC High School highlights achievements aligned with its Portrait of a Graduate. During the 2022-23 academic year, "79.1% of students earned college credit in at least one college course" and "81.4% of students obtained at least one industry-recognized credential." These results underscore the school's dedication to preparing students for success beyond high school.
While ACT scores are not central to KTEC's educational model, there is an ongoing commitment to enhancing student skills in English Language Arts and math. The current year includes additional time in student schedules for skill-building in these areas, supported by tools like Aleks Math and Achieve 3000. Furthermore, NWEA’s Measures of Academic Progress are being implemented to develop personalized learning plans that foster individual growth.
