Local elementary schools are hosting "Growing Gardeners" workshops in May. The workshops aim to teach gardening skills to children and will take place on Tuesday, May 6, at Curtis Strange Elementary, 5414 49th Ave., OR, and on Thursday, May 8, at Somers Elementary, 1245 72nd Ave. Both events are scheduled to occur from 6 to 7 p.m.
Participants interested in acquiring gardening skills may attend these sessions and are encouraged to register for the event titled "Growing Gardeners."
