Kenosha County Parks is set to launch its popular summer activities starting the week of June 9, offering free entertainment in outdoor settings throughout the season. This announcement was made by County Executive Samantha Kerkman.

“We’re excited to be back with another summer of outstanding, free programming in our county parks,” Kerkman stated.

The events include two concert series: Bristol Woodstock and Rhythm on the Lake. Bristol Woodstock will take place at Bristol Woods Park every Wednesday at 6 p.m., while Rhythm on the Lake will occur at Old Settlers Park each Thursday at 6 p.m. These concerts feature a variety of musical genres, showcasing talent from Kenosha County and beyond. Concessions during the Thursday concerts will be provided by the Paddock Lake Lions Club and Paddock Lake Kiwanis Club.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets due to limited seating, and to prepare for changing temperatures as the evening progresses.

Yoga in the Park classes will be held every Monday from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Petrifying Springs Park's Area #4. The sessions are open to all levels, with participants asked to bring a mat.

Movie Night in the Park is scheduled for Fridays near the Petrifying Springs Biergarten beginning June 20. Films start at dusk, and attendees should bring chairs, blankets, and snacks.

All events depend on weather conditions. Updates or schedule changes can be found on Kenosha County Parks’ social media pages and website.

Movies scheduled include “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade” on June 20 and “E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial” on August 29 near Petrifying Springs Biergarten.

Additional weekly events include Yoga in the Park presented by Hot Yoga Kenosha each Monday until August 11, as well as Sound Baths by Nerve-Ana featuring crystal singing bowls starting June 20 through October at various dates.
